Tatarah Bidding game

I want to introduce this new bidding website. When it was first launched, you can bid items that they offered at lowest bidding score to win. The winner was selected from the lowest and unique bidding number. Let's say You won because everyone else was bidding more than $1 for an item, but you bid it for 0.99 cent. Which mean, , You can win a car at less than $1 or an LV bag. You had to pay a bidding fee (through credit card or mobile sms fee) at $1-$10 (depends on what item you were bidding).

Let's say, if they offered a Nokia N73 which is sold at $700 generally in a shop, and the cost of a one time bidding is $7, they basically just need 100 people to cover the cost of the item. The rest, are their profit. If you got the item sponsored, you got more profit too.

Very excellent business idea i must say.

Unfortunately....

The rule of the game has been changed after their website reconstruction. I did not read the new rule and happily bid for 3 more items. You bet, I definitely did not win the bidding.

Currently the new rule is that, the highest unique bidding will win. There is a max bidding score you can bid too and you have a points that they give you for free if you recommend this website to friends. These points can be used to omit the cost of the item that you had won through the bidding.

Example: An LV bag that cost >$1000 at retail price, the max bidding is $500. May be one could win by putting a bidding at $499.99. Would you still want to bid then? Still cheaper than buying from the shop though.

For me, I would bid, if i really want the item, and if i am sure I will be the winner by putting the max bidding. Else, I am going to waste money on the bidding fee too.

A fun "gambling" like game.
