If you are looking for Cheongsam to wear for wedding dinner, meet the parents (especially traditional chinese), or dinner and dance; there are a few good places that I can recommend.

Recently, I bought one from madamme Xi at Tanglin Shopping Centre (Unit 03-14) with 50% discount. I kinda of very satisfied with their designs and service. The cheongsams are designed by their own bosses and manufactured in HK and China. They sell very good and expensive cheongsams of a few hundred dollars too, like those made from real satin clothes.

You can find a number of clothes at Far East plaza that sell 'modern look cheongsam too' . I will especially recommend the 'Mazzario'. They even offer alteration service at $3-$4 cost. The cheongsam are at discounted price of less than $60.
