I just registered as Krisflyer member early this year. It was because I was told that I would have 2 business trip to 3 different countries this year (Thailand, USA and Japan). Thanks to the recommendation of my good friend, a marketing exec who always travel as part of her job.

Do you know that it is free to register as Krisflyer member? What you have to do is just to do the registration online at singapore airline website. It will take about 1 month for you to get the card, however, you will be given the krisflyer membership number on the spot. Therefore, you can use it to claim points anytime when you are flying by flights that are under the Star alliance

Imagine without knowing this, all the flights that I have taken before I was a member, I couldn't have the benefits to claim the points.

From only 3 trips that I made this year, I had accumulated 21,000 points which were enough for me to claim 1 return tickets from spore to jakarta and a 1 way ticket from medan to spore.

I must say, I am really happy being a krisflyer member. Thank you for the great service and offer.
